LeBron James's Three Kids Are the 'Greatest' Things in His Life (2022)

LeBron James' Kids are growing up with different personalities. Two of the three follow in their father's footsteps as basketball players, including Bronny and Bryce.

LeBron James has one of the most successful careers in the history of the NBA, yet he takes the most pride in being a father to his three children, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri.

The basketball player shares his two sons and daughter with his wife, Savannah James. Whenever possible, he would take the opportunity to talk about his kids and their milestones.

During an interview, LeBron called his children "the greatest thing in my life." He added, "Whenever [Zhuri] smiles, it doesn't matter what I'm doing; it makes me happy." Here's more about the athlete's precious children.

Born in October 2004, Bronny is a Sierra Canyon, Los Angeles student. He follows in his father's footsteps as a basketball player, joining the Trailblazers. Although he isn't as famous, Bronny's talent got him the 34th ranking in the country and fourth in California, according to the 247Sports Composite Rating System.

His performance was enough to catch the attention of recruiters and nab a feature in the documentary series "Top Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers."

There have been scholarships offered to the promising athlete, but some believe he may bypass college and be on his way to the NBA. Adam Finkelstein from 274Sports weighed in on Bronny's talent, saying:

"I think everybody is in agreement that he is a good player who can impact winning pretty much from day one at the college level. I just think the perception [...] is that he is not likely to play college basketball. So we will see if that changes [...]."

Aside from his superstar father guiding him in the sport, he has several other role models in the league, including his godfather, Chris Paul. Bronny looks up to other NBA players, including Kevin Durant, James Harden, Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Damian Lillard.

Aside from being good on the court, Bronny is also an excellent e-sports player. At 15, Bronny became the newest addition to the FaZe Clan, launching him as an e-sports organization's high-profile ambassador. Bronny joined the likes of Ben Simmons, Meyers Leonard, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Lil Yachty, and Offset.

Although his membership did not grant him monetary returns, Bronny's name became more famous in the online community. Since announcing his partnership, he gained over 77,000 followers on Instagram alone. His views on Twitch also increased by 855 percent. FaZe Clan's head of communications said:

"It's important to point out [that] Bronny isn't 'signed' to FaZe Clan. He does not have a contract with FaZe Clan. [...] It's an organic relationship between the talent and Bronny."

In 2021, another Bronny celebrated another milestone as he was featured on the Sports Illustrated cover alongside other members of FaZe Clan. His father said:

"Bronny plays video games all day. I mean, he loves basketball, he plays basketball, loves being a big brother to his little brother and sister, but video games [are] his thing."

Like other boys his age, Bronny also enjoys socializing with his friends and making TikTok videos during his free time. It seems like Bronny is being raised well, but if there's something LeBron regrets with his child, it's giving his name.

"When I was younger, obviously, I didn't have a dad. So my whole thing was, whenever I have a kid, not only is he gonna be a junior, I'm gonna do everything that this man didn't do," he said. However, all he could do was be a good father, friend, and mentor. The rest was really up to his children.

Born on June 14, 2007, Bryce Maximus is LeBron's second child. Like his older brother, Bryce's godfather is also Chris Paul, who was at the hospital when Savannah gave birth to him. With basketball talent, he is quickly catching up with Bronny's success.

The Los Angeles Lakers player alleges that Bryce is the best shooter but the one in their family least spoken about in sports. At 15, Bryce stands nearly as tall as his father, giving him an advantage on the court.

Beyond his athleticism, Bryce is a humorous person who even impersonated his father in one of his TikTok videos. Additionally, Bryce likes entertaining his 1.2 million followers with dance videos on the platform.

Born on October 22, 2014, Zhuri is the youngest and only daughter of LeBron and Savannah. Zhuri is a star in her own right in the fashion industry with a partnership with the brand Janie and Jack.

"I'm most excited about the fashion and talking to the designers," the young girl said of hosting a fashion event. Zhuri often shares her different outfits on Instagram while doing various activities. Although her favorite colors are pink, purple, and gold, Zhuri wears all kinds of clothing to match.

She also has her own YouTube channel, showcasing some of her favorite activities, such as cooking, baking, painting, and more. Although she isn't into basketball, Zhuri enjoys dancing and even takes lessons with an instructor.

In 2020, Zhuri's parents gifted her with a small house in their backyard, far more upscale than any young girl's dollhouse.

LeBron shares his children with Savannah, his high school sweetheart, who he met while studying in Akron, Ohio. Savannah fell in love with LeBron before he became an NBA superstar and was already by his side when he signed his first NBA contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The couple already had two children when they tied the knot in September 2013, and they have since been going strong. Although LeBron's undeniable talent launched him to stardom, he credits his wife for his success. He said:

"You wouldn't be talking to me right now if it weren't for her."

Savannah also has her successes, including the businesses she launched over the years, including a juicery and a furniture line with American Signature. However, she remains down to earth and prefers to stay away from the spotlight.

Savannah James is also a philanthropist and dedicates her time to "encourage and empower girls and young women." She previously gave speeches at fundraising events, including the Forever Endowment dinner and Akron Community Foundation's For Women. In addition, she became the honorary chair for YWCA Greater Cleveland's Circle fundraiser.

"I'm still a very private person, but these things reflect the passion that I have as far as giving back, the philanthropic part of me," she said. "So with those things, I don't mind stepping out."

Savannah launched Women of the Future, a mentorship program to support young women in Ohio, in 2017. When not busy with work, Savannah takes care of her children with her husband.

LeBron is undoubtedly a great father, although he did not have one growing up. He doesn't know much about his dad as his mother raised him single-handedly. "It was tough at times, but my mom, she kept it real," he said. "She was like my mother and my father at the same time."

Because of his experience growing up, LeBron wanted to be a better father to his children. "I wanted to be a part of the statistics that breaks the mode of fathers running out on their kids," he said. "That was something I obviously went through, and I knew from day one that wasn't going to be me."

Although his job demanded a lot of time, he wanted to be there for his children as they grew up. As he did, LeBron realized that he couldn't parent each child the same way and expect similar results. "They all have different personalities even though we're all growing up in the same households," he said.

When LeBron entered the NBA bubble in 2020, he missed his family excessively. It became a challenge that he had to overcome for them. As time flew by, he reunited with his family once again.
